BLT Dip

Unread post by patriceinil »

1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
5-6 plum tomatoes, seeded and diced small
1/2 lb bacon cut into a small dice and fried until just crisp.

Once the bacon is cooked drain it on paper towels until cool, stir the mayonnaise and sour cream together in a medium sized bowl, add the tomatoes and cooled bacon. Stir gently to combine and serve over toast points or whole slices of toast for a meal.

It’s better than a BLT because it’s easier to eat, just spoon a bit on toast and enjoy. You can add finely shredded lettuce if you want but it doesn’t really need it.

This makes a fantastic dip for parties or a quick meal for any day of the week!

And if you add it to a salad, I bet it would taste real god!

Looks delicious!
And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit. -The Tick ~~ Bible verse Revelation 6:15-17 - look it up!

FF it’s nice to have on hand for a quick lunch, just toast some bread and eat it as a regular or open faced sandwich.
