Started drawing my first coloring in page. It's taking a lot longer than I thought it would, but it should be nice when I'm finished. :)

Settled with a fantasy theme, which will probably get mixed with a fairy tale theme as well. I have general ideas for mythological creatures, but if you have a favorite story, creature, or fairy tale, let me know, and I'll see what kind of inspiration I can take from it.

I have completed the gryphon pattern, and made a preliminary sketch for a dragon one. Got a few ideas to work on, and that should keep me busy. I'm pleased that my creativity in drawing has been awakened again. It's been a long time since I was able to get anything down on paper.

I've often wished that I could draw, well, but I can't. I think that's one reason I like to color.

Here it is, a sample of the art work that will eventually make up my coloring book.

I love that! Great detail and perfect for coloring. I need to get some of these for D1 for Christmas. She would eat this stuff up.

Hopefully I will have a few worth purchasing by then. Eventually they'll all go into a coloring book, but I'll see individuals as well. I just can't figure out what kind of price I should place on a digital pattern. I can save it as PDF and people can print it, I think, but still. How do I go about this and not get ripped off? :P It looks like a simple black and white pattern, but it took 5 or 6 hours spread out over two days to finish...

It doesn't look simple to me. I am amazed at the skill level.

Pages 2 and 3 of my coloring book are done! A Dragon Mother and a Cockatrice:

These take 6-10 hours to complete, each. I have to resist coloring them in myself. :P
