Tips and Tricks of the Sewing Trade

Unread post by Farmfresh » Thu Aug 23, 2018 9:11 am

There are a lot of "Tips" videos out there. This one has a LOT of the things that Grandma Nettie taught me when I was learning to sew.

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
"Stop Dreaming About the Good Life and Start Living IT !"
Every little bit ... is a little bit.

I liked the craft apron from the old jeans. Only problem being, my back pockets are normally wore out by the time I get to that stage!

I really liked the demonstration of all of the stitches and embroidery techniques at the end. You seldom see instruction on hand stitching anymore.

I’ve seen many of these before but it was a good refresher to see it again. I like the elastic waistband hack and the flat iron trick for when you don’t have an iron or don’t want to pull it out.
