In Search of a Good ... Bed and Breakfast?

Unread post by Farmfresh » Thu Dec 20, 2018 12:52 pm

Some friends of mine from my Bible study group just opened up a Bed and Breakfast. I was on Murphy's journal and started thinking that it might be good to share it on here... in case any of you ever know of someone traveling in my area.

They call it Walnut Waters and it is located in Lone Jack, Missouri, which has a lot of Civil War history. It is just a short trip to Kansas City and even shorter to my house. They have three rooms in their log cabin home, a beautiful fishing pond and a lovely country location. I will also attest to the food. My friend Rebecca is an excellent cook, so I know that your breakfast will be amazing.

That picture looks nice, but I didn't see any others. If they don't have any others, you might suggest to them that they post more.

I will. They are having someone else do their webpage. I don't think he is doing a very good job.

It is a really nice place. I think they have 25 or so acres. About half of it is wooded with trails to hike on and in a small town to boot. Another thing they have is truck/RV parking. They have already had a few truckers stay.

It's beautiful, but I wouldn't be able to stay there-no pets allowed.

Yes. She has a house cat. She does not want someone's dog to come in and make her kitty miserable.
