How do I post a picture?
How do I post a picture?
Unfortunately this forum site does not host photos. If you want to post a picture (and I hope you do!), you must first download your photo to a photo sharing site like Flickr https://www.flickr.com/, Shutterfly http://www.shutterfly.com/nav/signedOut ... 18F59C02DA or DropShots http://www.dropshots.com/. It is also possible to self-host pictures if you have a website, but most often that is not the case.
Once you have the photo on a sharing site, you simply click the IMG button in the tool bar and insert your photo information. Everything should show properly when submitted in this way.

Re: How do I post a picture?
Ok I have photobucket. I'll upload there and try to reduce the size.
Thanks,

To post a picture, click "full editor and preview", then scroll down to the bottom of your screen and click "attachments", then click "add files", then search your files for your favorite photo and double click the file you select. Then click the box that says "place file inline". Then click "preview". Then click "post" to post photos directly from your own files.

Re: How do I post a picture?
I just tried that w/a random pic and it said the file was too large.

Re: How do I post a picture?
Do you mean for an avitar? No larger that 200 x 200 pix. Regular pictures need to go through a photo sharing site like Flickr.

Re: How do I post a picture?
The avatar needs to be resized to 200 by 200, but you don't have to load photos from a sharing site, FF. I loaded my pictures directly from my own computer. Click "attachments", then "add files", then double click your picture, then click "place inline", then click "preview", then click "submit". The photo or file usually needs to be smaller than 300k.

Re: How do I post a picture?
I'll try another picture, a larger one: Oh well, I can't seem to find any pictures on my computer that are larger than 100k.
