How to Can Dry Beans

Unread post by Farmfresh » Tue Apr 16, 2019 5:55 pm

Here is a video I found on the subject.

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
"Stop Dreaming About the Good Life and Start Living IT !"
Every little bit ... is a little bit.

I haven't yet, but is on my ever growing to do list.

Her process seems simple enough. I've also heard on a couple of FB canning groups about whether to pre-soak the beans like she does or not before canning. From what I understand, whether you pre-soak or not, the beans still come out cooked & ready to go. I guess it comes down to personal preference.
I've also seen where some people will prepare the ham bone broth and use that for the liquid, along with any additional seasonings when canning to give extra flavor and skip a couple of later steps. |em22|

That sounds like a great idea for the broth.
