Sadly, for me, it's probably 11 1/2. She had a foal 4 years ago and it was a full 12 months. I asked the vet this week if that was just a one time deal and he said mares usually have the same gestation every time and I should expect 12 months again.

I had a mare that carried her foal three days short of a year once. I didn't think that was very common at all.

Had a vet visit today. Found a heartbeat! 10 1/2 months to go.
