Another Gluten Free one!

Crème Brulée

2 1/2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
2/3 Cup Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
3/4 Cup Sugar
4 Egg Yolks
2 Whole Eggs
1 teaspoon fresh lavender flowers (or 1/2 teaspoon dried), minced
Zest of a medium size orange
1/2 Cup Fresh berries (optional)

Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 300*F
2) Bring cream, milk and vanilla to a boil. In a separate bowl whisk eggs, yolks and sugar. 3) Pour hot milk mixture over eggs mixture whisking constantly.
4) Strain mixture then pour into desired ramekins (with fruit added if desired) and place into water bath in oven.
5) Bake until set, about 35-40 minutes. Remove and allow to cool. Sprinkle sugar on top and torch or broil until sugar is light caramel color and crisp.
