This is one of my creations and whenever I've made it, it's been a hit. It's just a combination of a cheese burger and a Philly Cheesesteak and a French Dip.
Montana Burger Dips
2lbs burger
1 pkg French Dip or Hoagie Rolls (can also use burger or hot dog buns in a pinch)
Salt & pepper
1 tsp Worchestershire sauce (there about/give or take, but not too much)
1 green pepper, sliced
1 red pepper sliced
1lb mushrooms sliced
1 onion sliced
sliced cheese (cheddar, swiss, provolone or??)
Au Jus gravy sauce
Mix burger with salt, pepper & Worchestershire sauce and shape into oblong patties just a bit bigger than the rolls. Cook till juices run clear, turning once. Add cheese slices the last couple of minutes of cooking to melt. In a separate pan, saute peppers, mushrooms and onions in a bit of butter till softened a bit to your liking. Toast the buns in the oven. Then assemble on the bun....burger with cheese & veggies. Serve with Au jus for dipping.
Of course I added some powdered kale and Trilogy seeds to the burger (I'm such a sneak

) and you could easily add other ingredients as you please. I was thinking of onion soup mix or even chop up the veggies and mix them in the burger, instead of separate. (I'd love to, but hubs would complain)
