Re: Grocery store prices have started to rise sharply

Y'all have some cheap prices for milk! It's around $4.00 a gallon here.

I haven't really noticed any prices going up-except for bacon. Some of it was up close to $7.00/pound! For that price, I won't buy it.

Re: Crocheted Sheep

I couldn't make heads or tails of the instructions. I was hoping I could make some for gifts. Have to see if I can find the pattern elsewhere.

Re: The Bra industry...just perplexes me

I cannot stand underwire bras. And, I can't find the ones I like in the store. The elastic in mine is getting too stretched out. So, I am seriously thinking of just replacing it.

Re: Chopping & Stacking & Curing or Seasoning wood

I have a 14" electric. It's what I cut most of my firewood with. I also have a 10" battery operated chainsaw. I've cut quite a bit of wood w/that as well. My generator has bit the dust. Boy, what a disappointment. Here I was expecting to read about a pattern for sewing a man!

Re: Recycling challenges and failures

My husband keeps putting stuff in the recycling bin that doesn't belong there, things like plastic bags, corks on wine bottles, etc. If I see it, I take it out.

Re: How do you break a broody?

I've shut one in my broody pen B4 to get her to stop setting when I wasn't ready. It didn't take long to break her.

Re: Stoooopid People

Notice, she's in front of a church.

I read this earlier, and wondered why he couldn't have just given her a warning. But, seeing as she knew about it for 6 months and hadn't fixed it, I can see why not.
