I poked 2 Black Shell zucchini seeds into the center of the other 3 tires that didn’t have a squash plant in them this afternoon. I also put in 9 red kidney beans seeds into 2 of the tires and 10 navy bean seeds into the other 2 tires. They should climb up the Bloody Butcher corn.

I’m really loving how well everything is doing in the tires so far!

While I haven't been able to trap the groundhog, I think I did manage to get him out of the garden. So I'm finally getting it planted. I just don't know how well it will do.
My peas are making a comeback and have blossoms on them.
I have my tomatoes, peppers and eggplants in. I just don't know if they'll do much since it's kinda late for how big they are. They should have either been planted a month ago or at least been transplanted into larger containers a few weeks ago. But I didn't have the time, so we'll see how they do.
I have my corn in and some of it is up. I'll be planting my beans and sweet potatoes soon.
I'll be starting my vine crops inside this weekend. I have some volunteer plants that I'm keeping an eye on for squash bugs. So far, I haven't seen any. But if I do, they'll get pulled in the hope that I won't get them on the rest of the plants.
I'm missing a lot of onions, so I don't know if something ate them or they died. And I'm not sure if I can still get onion sets. But at least I'm getting the garden in.

I decided since it’s still cool and breezy this morning I would trim back the dead tops & canes of my raspberry patch. I found more Canadian thistle growing in my raspberry patch.

Here’s an update on how well everything is doing in my containers and tire garden so far this year.
