She does a nice job. I think she is a good example of how anyone can be a "good influence" on others.
As for the playing cards, those are well known. She forgot to mention the spacing for dado blades when using the table saw.
My only criticism is that she uses them for "disposable purposes" (mixing epoxy, etc.) and that reduces the effectiveness because the numbers of cards dwindle with each use. If she had cut them up into smaller pieces, I'd like that better.
The profile gauge she used was quite clever but didn't show how to transfer the profile to another surface...which is the real important use of the profile gauge. However, it took multiple decks of cards to do that.
The sanding trick was good, but who sands in such a small space?
The place holder for the closet hinge trick was clever. I'll definitely use that but as you can see, once again it takes more than one deck of cards to do that. Good idea though.
I always liked playing cards because they were so reliable as to their thickness. The trouble is that I generally don't get to use them until they have been "USED TO death" by those who like to play cards.
All in all, a good video.
Cheers,

You can get used card decks from casinos for very little money or even free. They even sell them on Amazon. It would be worth buying several decks since they are so useful.

Interesting, I could have used the last tip on Sunday when we took the doors off to put the new sweeps on them. All her tips were very clever. Thanks for sharing this video.
