Ingredients:
2 Cups Fresh Sweet Cherries, pitted
2 Tablespoons Blanched Slivered Almonds
3 Eggs
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Milk
2 teaspoons Amaretto Liquor or 1 teaspoon Almond Extract
1 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Confectioners Sugar for dusting
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 350*F. Butter and lightly flour a 9"x9" or 10"x7" baking dish. Scatter the cherries and slivered almonds over the bottom of the dish.
2) Whisk the eggs and sugar together until smooth. Whisk in the salt and flour until smooth.
3) Add the milk, Amaretto and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth. Pour into the baking dish over the cherries and almonds.
4) Bake for 35-40 minutes or until lightly browned and a tester inserted into the center comes out clean. Check about half way through the baking and if the top is getting too brown tent loosely with aluminum foil.
5) When cool dust with confectioners sugar.

I bet GF flour would substitute well here too.

I think so as well because there isn't any fat except in the butting of the baking dish. The liquid may have to be cut back a bit to.
