My neighbor called last night & told me their grapes were ripe & I could have as much as I wanted. I now have a big box full and I've never done grapes before. I thought they said they were Concords, but only some of them are really dark, more of a dark redish blue and they don't have that intense Concord flavor beyond the first bite. Not sure if they were mistaken or my taste buds are napping. They are good and sweet and do have seeds.
Anyway....I'm not really interested in making wine. We don't really drink and I think it would be too complicated an undertaking. I also know about doing jam, jelly & juice and more interested in just doing juice, but does anyone have any other ideas?

Re: HELP with grapes
Score!
Just get them cleaned up and simmer them on low heat awhile to get the juices flowing (a dab of water to start). Everything you are wanting all starts in that same place. Strain off the juice from the pulp. The juice can now be turned into your jelly or just drank as juice. Then if you want some jam mash that pulp through a food mill or chamois and save the pulp for your jam. Discard the seeds and skins. They also freeze really well.

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit. -The Tick ~~ Bible verse Revelation 6:15-17 - look it up!
