Re: The "What's For Supper?" Thread
We went to the Asian Buffet for D1's birthday. She had sushi. I had to carefully pick and pray to avoid gluten. I ended up with some Egg Drop soup, white rice, grilled fish and green beans. LOL I seem to have avoided contamination and got to play some with my granddaughter Kitten, so it was a good day!

I decided to make a cool weather dinner tonight, sautéed pork chops and fried potatoes. It was exactly what I have been craving!
I should have made some sautéed apples to go with it but I was too lazy to go out back to the apple tree to see if there were any ripe apples yet.

I made a big pot of chili yesterday. We still have plenty left for dinner tonight if we want it.

Farm to table pizza...almost. Didn't make the bread or cheese. The bread was in the Walmart bakery for 50 cents a loaf. Sliced it horizontally and the 2 halves filled a baking sheet. Layered tomato marinara, then a layer of shredded cheese, then home grown sausage and ham, then home grown peppers and onions, added a layer of cheese on top and baked until the cheese was melted and the bread was just starting to crisp. Yum.
