That's ok old fashioned. I've been getting organic raw goat's milk from my cousin and this is my second attempt at malking cheese from it. The first attempt was an utter disaster. This one yeilded chesse but I'm not pleased with the texture or the fact that it didn't make curds like I've seen it should do in the YouTube videos.

The last cheese I tried to make used rennet instead of simply an acid to help form the curd. I have a cheese recipe book here someplace. Maybe tonight before bed I can look into it and see if they have any suggestions for next time.

At this point I won't be making cheese with this milk again. It costs me $25 a gallon for the raw organic milk and I got about 16 ounces of cheese.

|em31| That is some mighty expensive cheese let alone the fact that store bought whole cow's milk is going for $1.39 a gallon at Aldi right now. I could be making tons of cow's milk cheese for almost nothing.
