I had a lamb steak last nite. It was on clearance and the only way I'll afford lamb. It made me think of Malcom. The ram...suppose you've run out of his errrrr the sausage by now, Farm.
Found water and ------better weather, yeah, maybe not.....

I haven’t bought any lamb in a very long time, it’s just too expensive.

I know, Patrice. It was a vac packed steak, 50% off of $8 something. I cooked it and will be able to get three meals out of it as a special treat (small portions).

Wish you all lived closer (again). I get $2 a pound live weight for my lambs and then with waste and paying for processing you end up with about 40 - 45 pounds of good lamb meat for about $4.00 something a pound.

I wish I lived closer too, not just for the lamb meat.
I have a taste for potato pancakes so that’s what will be for dinner tonight. Maybe I’ll make a huge batch and freeze the extras for later.
Oooh, I can do some loaded ones too. Those will have cheese, green onions and bacon in them. They make excellent side dishes or snacks topped with sour cream and chives.

I was going to do the beans in a bit... Now with the water running muddy I think I will be waiting for a while. Maybe beans for supper tomorrow.

Good idea to wait FF, I wouldn’t chance ruining the beans.

BLT's for supper tonight. Tomatoes from our garden. Out of bacon in the freezer, but got a good deal at the grocery. $8 for 3 lbs. Didn't have any lettuce so I used my food processor with the slicer attachment and did thin sliced/shredded cucumber instead. Had lots of those in the garden. Yum.
