Piper Nigrum AKA Black Peppercorns

I bought some seed on Etsy to give this a try. Though it prefers a hot & humid climate (Zone 10/11), it may grow indoors. Since it's a vine, I'm going to try as a hanging planter. Somehow I doubt I'll have much luck with it, but hey...….if it does, then I'll have my own black pepper source.

I tried black pepper a few years back. It never germinated.

Hopefully yours does better.

Farm, I'm not holding out much hope that's for sure...but we'll see how it goes.
