Cutting Up and Pressure Canning Chicken - raw pack

Low acid foods, like most veggies, ready made recipes and meats all require pressure canning to keep them safe.

This is an excellent video if you have never done this before.

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

I love Living Traditions. I have watched much at all since November. I’ve actually ne er canned with bone, I’m not sure a leg, thigh, breast jar would work for us. An odd combination.

I've done raw pack meats (chicken & beef) and that was easy. Just cram the jar with meat, lid & process...….it makes it's own broth. Not too long ago, when I cleaned out the freezer I canned up some drumsticks, bone & all....I don't remember if I added liquid or not, |em22| They look fine, but I don't know that I'll do that again....with the bones.
