You just slice some radishes very thin and sliver up an onion. Then you saute them in some butter or olive oil until they go a bit translucent. You mix some cornstarch with a bit of cold water and add it to the pan. Once it heats up a bit you start adding milk or cream to make the white sauce. Some salt and pepper and ta da.
Totally different flavor than a raw radish.

Kind of like creamed ... any vegetable. Just cooked a bit and slathered with white sauce. I bet cheese sauce would also be good.

This sounds awesome, and I am especially liking the cheese sauce idea. I never realized you could cook radishes, but my grandma or someone was saying you could also roast them.

Fried radish are a big substitute for potatoes on low carb diets. I did something similar to this last summer. I was the only one who ate it.

What did you think? Did they taste like potatoes? Radishes are so easy and fast to grow, I would love to have more uses for them.
