I'm going to make some bagel dogs tonight. I have the ingredients for the bagel dough in the bread machine, so by the time I'm home, the dough should be ready for me. Then I have to wrap the hotdogs, boil them in the baking soda water, and pop them in the oven. Movie night!

We have been having some wonderful dinners lately, but I am getting tired of the same old same old. I have also been craving vegetables, while Assoc loves his meat and lots of it.

So I took out a hunk of ground beef from the freezer and I am not sure yet what I will do with it. By late afternoon, I am usually too tired to really cook. so I am more likely to prepare crockpot meals and get them going in the mornings or early afternoons. I have lots of recipes on pinterest. I wish my printer would work so I could print one or two out and try them. Oh well. I may use some of the dehydrated mushrooms and make some sort of sauced ground beef dish and bake a winter squash. I would also love some warm baked desert. We have lots of organic apples. I made an apple crisp last week. I suppose I could make another.

I did crockpot scalloped potatoes with some sliced ham for dinner tonight. We also had some of my new home grown broccoli just simple steamed. It turned out well.

Today was my day off, so I made oven baked BBQ chicken legs, shells & cheese, steamed spinach and green salad with kale.
