All I could do watching this was to sit and drool.
This guy is awesome. You should just sit back on a lazy day and binge on his videos.

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit. -The Tick ~~ Bible verse Revelation 6:15-17 - look it up!

They suggested adding some chorizo sausage to it to make a meal, but I think even regular sausage or hamburger would work as well.

Oh that looks sooo delish
I love plain hominy just boiled and I eat the whole can by myself because nobody else likes it, so something like this is even better. Thanks for sharing

Rather than the cans of hominy, couldn't you just use grits?

Grits will work but you'll get more of a creamy polenta consistency.

I've never had hominy either. Grits, yes. I eat them often-had them for breakfast this morning.
