What to serve with squash??

[Old Fashioned]

We always eat squash as baked with brown sugar & butter, which would have been fine. Except I wasn't sure what to have as a main course with it........sure with a baked chicken, or ham...neither of which I had ready at the time. So it was trying to figure out what to make with either cut up chicken or burger. Meh, lesson learned. next time......have a plan
