Her recipe looks so nice and creamy, I’m going to have to make some this weekend.

Yummy! I think my Grandma Nettie used a couple of eggs in hers as well.
And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit. -The Tick ~~ Bible verse Revelation 6:15-17 - look it up!

I bet that would be extra rich and creamy with the eggs added.

It makes it more a custard. She always made AMAZING homemade vanilla and lemon custards. I remember getting a bowl of vanilla custard warm just off the stove. SOOOOO good.
